Di suatu malam sunyi senyap…
Diiringi bunyi ketak-ketik ketak-ketik dari seorang yang masih memiliki sisa semangat koding ria…
Dan bunyi derum lemah AC dan PC yang masih menyala…

Tampak sesosok perempuan, terdiam terpaku.
Wajahnya dingin, kaku, tanpa ekspresi.

Ahahahahah, iya, itu gw, kemarin malam. Di satu ruangan besar ini, jam 10 sampai 11 malam, cuma tinggal berdua. Sang Gondo masih asik dengan baris-baris code warna-warni itu, sedangkan gw lebih memilih untuk memanfaatkan moment sepi tersebut untuk… streaming! ^^v American Idol Top 8 Female performance, yang tayang di hari sebelumnya. Penasaran sama penampilan Siobhan Magnus yang lucu itu. Tapi ternyata, untuk female semifinalists minggu ini, pilihan gw jatuh kepada… Lacey Brown with The Story.

Entahlah, mungkin lebih karena gw suka lagunya ;) Lagu aslinya dibawakan oleh Brandi Carlile. Sumpah gw baru denger namanya sekarang, padahal itu lagu tahun 2007. Genre-nya agak-agak unik. Gw sih mendengarnya ada pengaruh country, tapi kok ya dicampur pop dan rock dikit. Kalau kata om wiki sih disebut alternative country, hummmh… I don’t really like country music, but I do like this one :) Dari albumnya yang baru-baru aja, Give Up the Ghost (2009), gw suka Dreams, yang ini lebih kerasa deh country-nya.

Ngomong-ngomong ‘the story‘, baru-baru ini ada cerita yang benar-benar menjadi hot thread di R&D Software. Ceritanya, waktu ada seorang yang dengan niatnya OT di hari Minggu, sendirian, tiba-tiba dia melihat sesosok perempuan mondar-mandir. Berbaju, atau berjubah putih panjang, dan berambut panjang. Opacity 30% =)). Kejadiannya di waktu menjelang Maghrib katanya, dan dia waktu itu memang sudah mau pulang. Akhirnya dia cuma bisa teriak “Permisi ya mbak, mau kirim report dulu, bentar lagi pulang kok” ^^;

Iya sih, dari dulu waktu ruangan ini masih ditempatin sama Purchasing dept., katanya memang ada cerita-cerita. Waktu kita pindah ke sini pun sempat jadi perbincangan hot. Waktu itu, sang Bossbess dengan songongnya berkata “Aaah, ga ada itu gitu-gituan”. Eh, ternyata, kemarin dia baru cerita bahwa malam itu juga dia diikutin sampe ke kosan. Hiiiihh… Berkat itu dia libur OT selama seminggu, wahahahah…

Tapi, gara-gara hot news itu, semangat OT gw jadi agak terganggu >.< Padahal tadinya kegiatan ‘tutup toko’ a.k.a matiin lampu karena jadi orang terakhir yang pulang, terasa biasa saja, tapi kemarin, pikirannya jadi aneh-aneh deh. Padahal biasanya, kalau ada suara-suara lagu atau film atau apapun dari set yang menyala, pasti gw langsung beranggapan “Aaah, lagi long play itu”. Tapi kemarin, jadi bertanya-tanya, “Hummmh, tadinya nyala ga sih? Kapan nyalanya?”. Gawaaaat… semoga keparnoan ini tak berlangsung selamanya >.<

Dan tadi malam pun, akhirnya gw tidur dengan lampu menyala, aaargh… Berasa kurang nyenyak.

Permisi ya mbak, saya mau posting blog dulu, bentar lagi pulang kok.. ^^
